55 Central employs a small friendly team of workers who are committed to delivering quality support services and trauma informed care. Our service workers have qualifications and experience in social services and community work with a minimum requirement of Certificate 4 in Community Services.
All full-time and permanent employment vacancies are advertised through seek.com.au. Occasionally 55 Central requires the services of casual and part-time staff to work in a range of social care related roles. Volunteers and students at 55 Central
55 Central welcomes people who would like to volunteer their time to support our services. We have a range of opportunities including practical hands-on work such as gardening and cleaning through to fundraising and helping to run activities such as art and cooking programs. All our volunteers are valued and receive ongoing training and support.
55 Central also welcomes students from local TAFE colleges and universities who are seeking work experience through a student placement.
